  • Potential Scam Calls After Applying for a Mortgage

We're excited to be working with you on your mortgage! As part of the application process, a credit check is required. This can sometimes trigger outreach from other lenders who purchase "trigger leads."

These lenders may contact you by phone, email, mail or text message, offering their mortgage products. While some may be reputable, it's important to be cautious.

Here's the key point: We will never ask you to verify confidential information over the phone, through unsolicited emails or text message.

If you receive a call from someone claiming to be a lender or myself and they ask for personal details like your Social Security number, account numbers, or credit card information, hang up immediately. It's a potential scam.

If you're unsure about a call's legitimacy, here's what to do:

        • Do not provide any personal information.
        • Ask for their company name and contact information.
        • Contact me directly to verify if they're a legitimate lender.

For your peace of mind, you can also opt-out of receiving prescreened credit offers from other lenders at OptOutPrescreen.com or by calling 1-888-5-OPT-OUT (1-888-567-8688).

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out!
